Dream State

All week, nothing but long days
Finally time to unwind
At the moment there's no place I've gotta be
And I've got plenty of options in front of me right now
I'll be taking my time

I'm only flesh and bone
Chasing the unknown

Covered in red
I just can't wait
To drift into the dream state

Full Moon tapping the window
So soon lower the blind
I need a place I can find some serenity
Residing somewhere in the near vicinity
Right now, not much else on my mind

Out of the mixture
Waiting for a sign
To penetrate my mind
The answer's in the whispers
The wind has tales to tell but hides them well
