And I couldn't tell the difference
In stature or in rhetoric
These demons that conducted these new plans
As it stands
I have no recollection
Of any choice I might have had;
present or past.
All their faces look the same
And all the lies that then take shape
Give new meaning to this destruction on our hands
And that's the way the riddle ends

It's the same mistake
I have always made.
Believing in humans with hidden agenda's
That's a line they've crossed
And so here's to my faith lost
You'll never have my allegiance again!

I've found vaults of misinformation
I've carried myths shrouded in devotion
I've held onto every dishonest fallacy
That they have embedded in me

I never stood a chance did I?

Choosing among too evils
Has been a key to our survival
And I cherished every moment of my ignorance

Look what we have become
When did we get off track
The damage has been done

I just want my leverage back!

How did we get so far
this isn't how we planned it
But now I understand

I just want what my father had

This one time can we add
Some decency; some integrity;
Is that really so much to ask?!
I've had enough of eating the words
So many bodies have been buried for.
I refuse to be an accessory anymore
