Visions Of Grandeur

Isolated from the heat of the day
I'm drawn to my sacred hiding place
Upon the nightfall to repeat all over again
Blood under my fingernails
From building castles in the air

No resistance, can't stop until they’re finished

From chipping away at the gems within

Struggle to be clear I hear
Cracking bones and feel the heartbeats
Amplified inside my head
In between breathing

My sky is filled with stars
Diamonds in the daylight
