Chase the Fire

Upon an empty plain
A young one stands
A face without a name
An open book with willing hands

Framed inside a door
The journey calls
The maps are lost forevermore
Behind him just one shadow falls
He walks among the many
That have come this way before

Who will guide this brave, young traveller
Walk through the great unknow?
Sanctify the rites of passage
Who can follow where he goes?
