Theatre Of The Absurd

The curtain rises,the show begins!

My legs keep on shaking, the wire is thin
Tight rope walker, I just can't fall… can't fall!
Puppet, always repeating the same movement
The script is already written, but it is not about me

We are waiting for godot
Shall we go? Oh yes, let's go!

I paint words on my tears which I hide
Behind my eyelids
The world is a picture I'll color
With trembling hands
Smiling mask, only a facade
The show must go on
Actor without script
Everybody, make fun of the clown

Ahahahahah! Everybody look how funny he is!
In his odd clothes, he can barely stand!

When you fragile, perfect masks fall, I see nothing behind them
Under mine lie wrinkles engraved by real feelings

The more I suffer, the more I look derisible
They buy tickets to watch this show
The clown is always happy
The clown has fun
The clown makes you laugh

Identity crisis, I lost my words, just don't know what to say
Without sense and without purpose, I wait but I know, but I know
Pithy plot, only irrelevant happenings
Everything stands still, everything is moving
Motionless time is flowing so fast
How many times shall I act the same way?
Sequence of illogic events linked by void
I look for a meaning with irrational eyes
