When I’m old and I’m drinking wine
I’ll throw some caution ‘tween these burgundy lines.
For now I’ll grab a coffee just to catch your eye,
read too much into your employee smile.

The champagne of beers in the new year
is all that I could get.
Wanted water for an hour,
but fell asleep instead.

outside of my old public school,
chasin’ a little dizzy drunk

I’m taping down some flyers
on the sidewalk by the show.
