When The Light Dies

When the beauty of the world starts to fade.
And you lose all faith,
And the fire in your eyes, starts to die,
And you can see the light,
Fading in the darkness of what's become, of all the empty lives that would
not stop once begun.
When all we have that gives us hope, just fades away,
We know the future only holds a darker day.

In sickness, and in health.
In poverty, and wealth,
We know that when the light fades,
We'll have no-one, but ourselves.

In life, and death,
With everything we have left,
We know that when the light fades,
We'll see the mist of our last breath.

When the light dies.
When the beauty of the world starts to fade.
