Últimamente he estado pensando

Had myself some friends

And spent a time or two in my own home

Y tengo que decirlo ahora
And I have to say it now
Ha sido una buena vida en general
Its been a good life all in all
Está muy bien
Its really fine
Tener la oportunidad de pasar el rato
To have a chance to hang around
Y se acuesta junto al fuego
And lie there by the fire
Y mira el neumático de la noche
And watch the evening tire

While all my friends and my old lady

Sit and pass the pipe around

And things that we believe in
Qué dulce es amar a alguien
How sweet it is to love someone
¿Qué tan correcto es cuidar
How right it is to care
¿Cuánto tiempo ha pasado desde ayer?
How long its been since yesterday
¿Y qué pasa mañana?
And what about tomorrow
Y ehat sobre nuestros sueños
And ehat about our dreams
Y todos los recuerdos que compartimos
And all the memories we share

Los días que pasan tan rápido ahora
The days they pass so quickly now
Las noches son raramente largas
Nights are seldom long
Y el tiempo a mi alrededor susurra cuando hace frío
And time around me whispers when its cold
Los cambios de alguna manera me asustan
The changes somehow frighten me
