Vivía un pueblo
There lived a people.....
¿Quién pensó que la paz era el verdadero valor
Who thought that peace was the true valour.....

Todos eran iguales a los demás
Everyone was equal to the others....
No había ni reyes ni reinas
There were neither kings nor queens.....
En todas partes sólo la libertad y la riqueza
Everywhere only freedom and wealth....
Pero nadie era realmente feliz allí
But nobody was truly happy there....

¿Y cómo terminaron...?
And how did they finish.....
¿Dónde está su glorioso imperio
Where is their glorious empire.....
La respuesta está bajo tu vista
The answer is under your sight.....
Sólo cenizas y ruinas
Only ashes and ruins....

Tenían todo
They had everything....
Todo el mundo era libre de vivir como él eligió
Everyone was free to live the way he chose....
De hecho
As a matter of fact.....
Eran los amos de su tierra violada
They were the masters of their raped earth....

En todas partes construyeron edificios
Everywhere they built up buildings...
Con una materia gris en bruto no sabemos más
With a raw grey material we know no more....
Y volaron a través de los cielos
And they flew through the skies....
Dentro de enormes cosas metálicas como pájaros
Inside huge metal things like birds....

Y el silencio fue desterrado por su reino
And silence was banished by their realm....
Nadie levantó la cabeza a las estrellas
Nobody raised the head to the stars...
La única cuestión que adoraban
Only matter they worshipped....
Olvidando que eran sólo granos de arena
Forgetting they were only grains of sand...

Y pronto perdieron sus almas
And soon they lost their souls....
Su dios fue llamado tecnología
Their god was called technology...
En su altar se sacrificaron
At its altar they sacrified...
Las pocas almas nobles que quedan
The few left noble souls....

¿Y cómo terminaron...?
And how did they finish....
¿Dónde está su glorioso imperio
Where is their glorious empire...
La respuesta está bajo nuestra vista
The answer is under our sight....
Sólo cenizas y ruinas
Only ashes and ruins....

En el momento de un micrón
In the time of a micron....
Ese glorioso imperio cayó en el olvido
That glorious empire fell down to oblivion....
Aniquilado por la naturaleza
Annihilated by nature...
La justicia cósmica acaba de escupir en sus tesoros
The cosmic justice just spit on their treasures...

Todos los edificios que tenían
All the buildings they had...
Fueron hundidas en las profundidades del infernal
Were plunged down to the depths of hell...

As a matter of fact....
Ya no eran los amos de su tierra violada

Y finalmente hubo silencio
And finally there was silence...
Las estrellas comenzaron a brillar en el cielo
Stars began to shine in the sky...
Los altares fueron barridos

Y las almas nobles regresaron otra vez
And the noble souls were back again...

That something exists beyond the veil...

Qué estúpidos eran
How stupid they were...
Tan encarcelados en su tecnología
So imprisoned in their technology....
Qué mundo tan maravilloso
What a wonderful world....
Después de que ya no estaban
Arised after they were no more...
